Coarser turf in a yellow grass shade, 353 cm³. For stubble, dry field margins and summer meadows.
Responsibility details are not available.
Growth dried out by the sun has a different job on a model than fresh green. Yellow grass reads the scene as late summer, drought or an untended margin and shifts the season at once, with no need to repaint anything. The coarser grain also holds shadow, so the area does not look like a carpet.
The package holds 353 cm³ of material. That is enough for stubble behind a farmstead, for a strip along a railroad and for several smaller dioramas.
Mixing gives the most convincing result. Yellow growth suits islands within a green area and the other way round, because a real meadow dries out unevenly: first on the lip of a slope and by a wall, and it lasts longest by a ditch. Anyone who shows that difference on a model gains a depth a single color area will never have.
The material is sprinkled onto thinned white glue and the excess is tapped off once dry. For taller growth the layer can be repeated or completed with tufts.
The contents are loose grass material with no glue and no base board. The shade is colored throughout, so it loses none of its intensity when fixed with varnish or after long lighting in a display case.
The bag does not have to be emptied all at once. It pays to take smaller amounts into a dish and keep the rest closed, because grass material is light and blows away easily. While working it is better to keep the scene out of a draft.
A finished area can still be oversprayed from above with thinned paint from a distance, which creates a soft transition between yellow and green right on the scene.
