Cobra Motor Copper Brown Metallic is a copper brown metallic from the Cobra Motor automotive line by AMMO of Mig Jimenez for the bodies of car models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A shade from the Cobra Motor line, which AMMO of Mig Jimenez built on body colors. The name describes a copper brown tone with a metallic effect, that is the kind of finish the 1970s and 1980s were full of, when brown metallics were among the most common factory colors of all.
A brown metallic and what goes with it
A brown metallic finish looks muted on its own; it comes alive only in contrast. Cars of the period therefore almost always combined a brown body with a light interior and with chrome on the bumpers, window frames and handles. If you keep that contrast on the model, the car takes on the atmosphere of its time far more reliably than it would with any weathering.
The metallic pigment settles at the bottom, so stir the bottle before work and between coats. Apply thin, even coats and run the last one smoothly without stopping. The gloss of the period comes only with a final clear coat and gentle polishing; with brown metallics the difference between a matte and a polished surface is particularly great.
For builders of period passenger cars and youngtimers who want a faithful factory tone. The thinning and chemistry are given by the manufacturer in the instructions on the packaging.
Make sure the room is well ventilated and protect your airways when spraying. Keep out of the reach of children.
