A modeling material from the brand AK Interactive: soft copper wire 0.60 mm in diameter in a length of five meters, left in the original color of the metal with no surface treatment. It is neither a kit nor a finished accessory: it is a semi-finished material that replaces on a model everything that is meant to be thin, flexible and strong at the same time. Copper shapes well with the fingers and with tweezers, holds the shape it is set to and, unlike plastic, does not snap.
The 0.60 mm diameter is a universal medium thickness: in smaller scales it already reads as a pronounced line, and in larger ones it serves as a thin cable. Before bending, straighten the wire by drawing it between your fingers or with a light pull in pliers. Cut it with side cutters, not with scissors. Original copper has a pronounced metallic sheen, so if the wire is meant to look like a rubber line on the model, degrease it and put a thin primer on, otherwise the paint will not hold on smooth metal. Where the copper is meant to be seen as copper, on the other hand, the surface is left bare and only softened with pigment. It is glued with super glue, ideally into a pre-drilled hole.
For anyone who builds beyond the contents of the box: detailers of vehicles and aircraft, diorama builders and figure painters. Five meters will last for a great many models.
