A set of ship fittings from Constructo for building and fitting out wooden ship models. It is not a kit but a collection of deadeyes 7 mm in size. A deadeye is a flat disc with three holes and no sheaves, with which the lanyards of a sailing ship's mast rigging are tensioned. The package holds 20 pieces.
The deadeyes can be given a light coat of wood stain before they are fitted, to even the shade out. Reeving thin thread through them is easier with a needle and tweezers. Secure the ends with a drop of thinned PVA.
