What it is: a simple but, in practice, very useful accessory, clear plastic cups with a pouring lip and a grip, in which paint, thinner, varnish or pigment is mixed and measured out. What it is not: it is not paint and not thinner, it is purely an aid for mixing.

Use

• Mixing and thinning paint for the airbrush: in the cup you mix exactly as much as the job needs.
• No need to mix in the bottle itself. Thinner added to a stock bottle spoils all the paint that is left in it; in a cup you thin only the dose you poured out and the original stays untouched.
• Mixing your own shades: combining two paints in whatever ratio you choose.
• Pouring into the airbrush cup: the lip on the rim keeps it from dripping and spilling over the side.
• Single use, with no cleaning. With lacquer and solvent paints that saves a great deal of thinner and time, because washing out a mixing vessel swallows more thinner than the spraying itself. The manufacturer also states that the cups can be washed and reused if you want.
• The 40 ml capacity is enough even for a larger dose when spraying bigger surfaces.
