About product

A circuit racer that fits on a carpet

The German touring car championship is among the toughest circuit series in Europe. Road coupes rebuilt into racing form compete in it, with wide fenders, a massive rear wing and a smooth underside, and the racing is wheel to wheel in front of full grandstands. This car carries the colors of a German team from the time when a British driver who became champion in the series raced for it.

What you get

It is not a kit. The car is finished, assembled and ready to drive as soon as the cells are in. The control transmission uses the 2.4 GHz frequency, so several cars can run side by side without interfering with one another and you do not have to deal with tuning channels. The dimensions are 199 mm in length, 85 mm in width and 56 mm in height, which is a size you can drive without trouble in a flat, in a hallway or on a smooth terrace.

Power and the age limit

The controller and the vehicle each need two AA cells of 1.5 V. The cells are not included in the package, so count on them when buying. The manufacturer recommends the model from eight years up. The package contains small parts and is therefore unsuitable for children under three years, who risk inhaling them.

Before you drive for the first time

The car behaves best on a smooth and dry surface. On a carpet with a long pile the small wheels sink in and the run drops noticeably. Before driving switch on the controller first and only then the vehicle; once you have finished, proceed in reverse order, and when putting it away for longer take the cells out so that they do not leak.
