Magazines and playing cards are among the small things that give a diorama life. A magazine left half-read on a table, a pack of cards on a crate or on the seat of a vehicle, it is exactly such trifles that give away that someone moves about in the scene and that the crew is passing the time between two tasks.
The set brings magazines and playing cards in 1:35 scale. All the pieces are printed on both sides, so they can be used open or loosely scattered as well, without any blank unprinted area appearing anywhere.
Small pieces are most easily carried with tweezers that have fine jaws. A negligible amount of glue applied with the tip of a toothpick is enough to attach them; a larger dose will not help, it will only soak through and damage the printing. Try the layout dry first and only then fix it permanently. If a scene shows longer-standing disorder, it pays to turn the individual pieces in different directions, because a precisely aligned pile looks unnatural.
The set is intended for builders of dioramas and display case scenes in 1:35 scale who are finishing an interior, a field post or a civilian corner and are looking for an accessory that takes up a minimum of room and is yet immediately visible. A model, figures, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
