Mattresses and pillows in 1:35 scale as an accessory for dioramas. Furnishings for field hospitals, billets and abandoned interiors.
Responsibility details are not available.
A mattress and a pillow are among the objects that put on no show of their own, yet give a scene a human dimension. An unmade bed in a field hospital, a mattress laid on the floor of a derelict house or bedding stacked up in a billet will say more about a situation than further equipment in the background.
The set brings mattresses and pillows in 1:35 scale. The modeled cloth has the sagging and the folds of a soft filling, so the parts do not look like flat boards. The individual pieces can be laid loose, stacked on top of one another or leaned against a wall, according to the scene you are building.
The accessory does without assembly, but it pays to prepare the surface:
Textile lives on contrast. A lighter base, a darker glaze run into the folds and a dry brush along the tops of the folds will turn a uniform surface into a quilted mattress. A striped cover is among the most common patterns and can be suggested with a thin brush, while stains and dirt from the floor will then place the bed in a particular setting.
The set is aimed at builders of interior and civilian dioramas in 1:35 scale, at scenes from field hospitals, barracks and evacuations. A model, figures, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
