A parking apron without markings looks empty in a photograph and lacks scale. This sheet gives a scene exactly the elements that are read at first glance on a real airfield: technical signs for the surfaces, numbers, orientation and warning lettering. In 1:72 scale it is apparent how the surface is divided, so a diorama gains depth even without further accessories.
The composition of the signs and their number are given in the instructions enclosed with the sheet. They are not listed here, so go through the sheet in the package before building and lay the arrangement out dry on the surface.
First level the surface and draw a gloss varnish over it; on a roughly textured concrete tone the edges of the motif would stand out. Cut the sign out together with its backing, soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it stand until it comes free. After moving it, bring it into position, draw the water off with a soft cloth and let it dry. Then unify the whole area with a matte varnish, so that the gloss under the signs disappears. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version, because a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined.
The decal sheet is supplied on its own. A surface, paints, varnish and decal softener are not included, unless stated otherwise.
