Pre-cut masks for covering the glazing of the UH-1B/C/F helicopter in 1:72 scale. The cuts are adapted to the Italeri kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Bell UH-1 is among the most widespread helicopters of the second half of the twentieth century. The single-engine multirole machine with the nickname Huey became famous in the service of the American armed forces. The UH-1B and UH-1C versions have a shorter fuselage, while the UH-1F designation was carried by machines of the US Air Force. What all three have in common is the extensive and divided glazing of the pilot's compartment and the cabin, which takes the most work when a model is built.
The package consists of pre-cut masking parts for the glazed areas of a model in 1:72 scale. The shape of each part corresponds to one panel, so a mask sits into the frame without further trimming. Cutting tape by eye is thereby avoided and the frames come out equally wide around their whole perimeter. The cuts are adapted to the Italeri kit, and on a model of another brand the parts may fit only partly.
The set suits modelers who want sharp and regular frames of the glazing without laborious cutting of tape, and it suits beginners who are only learning to mask as well. The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
