Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's plastic kit of the Soviet T-80 light tank of the Second World War in the small 1:100 scale. The model is laid out as snap-fit; the parts fit together with no need for glue, so it suits a quick build and tabletop games. Paints are not included in the package.
The T-80 was the development peak of the line of Soviet Second World War light tanks and the direct successor to the T-70. Its main innovation was a two-man turret, which freed the commander from serving the gun, and the ability to elevate the main 45 mm gun steeply, thanks to which it could fire at targets higher up as well. It was built in limited numbers only.
Take the parts carefully off the sprues and clean up the small flash. Even though this is snap-fit, a drop of cement for plastic will raise the strength of the joints. In a small scale the detail comes out well with a dark wash picked into the recesses and fine drybrushing of the edges; final dust and mud effects will give the tank a look faithful to scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
