An injection-molded plastic kit of the Airbus A340-300 long-haul airliner in 1:144 scale, in the new Lufthansa color scheme. The set contains a finely broken-up fuselage, wings with surface detail, four engines, the wingtip fences and decals for an attractive livery. It is a rewarding model for a collection of civil aircraft.
The Airbus A340-300 is a four-engine wide-body aircraft for long-haul routes, which thanks to its four engines was able to operate even on long flights over oceans and remote regions. It was notable for its slender, long fuselage and was popular for the comfort it offered on long flights. The New Livery scheme corresponds to the airline's updated visual identity.
Glue the large fuselage and wing parts with liquid cement and take care to close the seams cleanly, as they show up on a glossy fuselage. Spray the model with white filler primer for an even base under the decals. Fine-tune the glazing and the transitions between shades with masking; apply the extensive livery decals patiently, with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
