An injection-molded plastic kit of the wide-body airliner Airbus A330-200 in 1:144 scale from Zvezda. The model has a smooth, elongated fuselage and large wings; in the box you will find plastic sprues, clear parts for the windows, a display stand and a choice of two types of engine nacelle. The assembled model measures around 41 cm.
The Airbus A330-200 is a twin-engine wide-body airliner intended for medium and long-haul routes. It is the shorter version of the A330 family with a long range, operated by a number of airlines worldwide. The pair of powerful turbofan engines under the wings gives economical operation, and the aircraft carries hundreds of passengers on intercontinental routes.
Fill and sand the large smooth surfaces of the fuselage and the wings carefully, because on airliners the seams are clearly visible. Spray the base coat smooth with an airbrush, because under glossy liveries every irregularity shows. Mask the windows and the cockpit glazing. The most demanding part is the airline livery with decals across large areas; lay down a gloss coat under them. Fit the landing gear and the engines at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
