About product

1:144 F/A-18 C Hornet in US Navy Service - Mark I decals

Waterslide decals from Mark I in 1:144 scale. The sheet brings the markings of McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet carrier fighter and attack aircraft in the service of the US Navy.

The real subject

The F/A-18C Hornet is a single-seat carrier multirole aircraft that formed the backbone of the strike squadrons of the US Navy. The individual squadrons differed in the colored markings on the tail fins and the fuselage, and that is what this set captures.

Use

  • Application by the wet method onto a glossy, smooth base
  • A decal softener is recommended so that they settle into the panel lines
  • Once dry, go over them with matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the surface of the model

Who the set is for

For modelers of carrier aviation in 1:144 with an interest in the US Navy.
