An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale from the Japanese maker Aoshima. It captures the modern C-2 military transport aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The model offers a well-developed fuselage with both the cargo hold and the flight deck, opening doors and hatches and the option of building the aircraft in flight or on the ground; a stand for displaying it in flight is included.
The Kawasaki C-2 is a modern Japanese twin-engine jet transport that replaced older transport machines in Japan Air Self-Defense Force service. It stands out for the large volume of its cargo hold, its long range and its ability to carry oversized loads. It serves for logistic support, carrying equipment and humanitarian tasks.
Decide in advance whether you will build the aircraft in flight or on the ground with the landing gear extended. Separate the parts carefully and glue them with cement for plastic. Paint the flight deck and the cargo hold before closing the fuselage. The large fuselage surfaces are easier to spray with an airbrush; for a clean result choose primer and thin coats of paint, and lay the decals onto a smooth surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
