German infantry Boots WWII (1:16) is a resin set of the boots of German infantry of the Second World War, an accessory for dioramas and large figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Royal Model brings a pair of boots of German infantry from the period of the Second World War in 1:16 scale. It is not a model kit but a resin accessory intended to bring dioramas, display cases and large figures to life. The casting of quality polyurethane resin captures the fine detail of the leather, the lacing and the soles.
The boots suit a scenic element in their own right at the feet of a figure, as part of a soldier's laid-aside equipment or as a replacement for less successful parts from another set. Thanks to the large scale, even small nuances of the material and of the wear come into their own once painted.
First wash the parts clean of the remains of mold release agent, carefully cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a base color (primer) before painting; you bring the leather out with shades of brown followed by drybrushing and a fine wash into the folds. Protect your airways while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
