This resin wheel set from the Ukrainian maker Reskit is an aftermarket accessory for 1:72 models of the General Dynamics F-111 combat aircraft (E and F versions) and its electronic warfare version, the EF-111. It is not an aircraft kit but a replacement for the plastic wheels. The castings have a faithful tire tread pattern and a fine flattening of the tire where it touches the ground.
The F-111 was a two-seat tactical bomber with variable-geometry wings, in US Air Force service from the 1960s. The EF-111A Raven version was a conversion for electronic warfare. The rugged aircraft stood on massive landing gear, which this set matches.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Paint the tire and the hub separately.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
