Maschinen Krieger LUM-168 Camel 1:20 is a plastic science-fiction kit of a lunar reconnaissance machine in 1:20 scale from Hasegawa.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the LUM-168 Camel reconnaissance machine from the science-fiction world of Maschinen Krieger in 1:20 scale. The set holds plastic parts, a pilot figure and decals for several variants; the legs of the machine stay movable once assembled.
Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K) is the visual world of Kow Yokoyama, set in a dark future. The LUM-168 Camel is a lunar tactical reconnaissance machine with a characteristically rugged silhouette that represents the aesthetic of this series well. As a science-fiction subject it offers freedom in the finish and in the story told.
The model invites pronounced weathering: worn paint, rubbed edges, dust and oil stains underline the impression of a well-used machine. Use thin cement for plastic, spray a primer as the base and build the effects up with washes, pigments and a dry brush. The pilot figure can be worked into a scene of its own.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
