Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American sports coupe Pontiac Fiero GT of 1985 in 1:24 scale from Revell. The model allows the car to be built in production form or to be completed with optional side air intakes and a pronounced roof air scoop. Under the opening cover sits a detailed mid-mounted six-cylinder engine. Check the exact package contents against the enclosed instructions.
The Pontiac Fiero was one of the most talked-about American cars of the 1980s and one of the few American production sports cars with a mid-mounted engine. It was marked by an unconventional concept with a steel space frame and plastic body panels, which did not corrode and allowed easy shaping. The more powerful GT version came for 1985 with a six-cylinder engine of 2.8 liters, an aerodynamically styled body and a large rear wing, thanks to which the Fiero became a genuine sports car and not just an economical coupe.
Smooth the body and spray it with an airbrush; the flat areas will appreciate careful preparation of the base and a primer. Apply a gloss coat before the decals (including the characteristic red lines) and fix the decals with a decal softener so that they settle without edges. Assemble and paint the engine and the interior before closing the body up, and finish the chrome and metal features (bumpers, wheels) off with a brush. It pays to detail the opening engine cover, because it is the main asset of the model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
