An injection-molded plastic kit from Italeri in the popular car modeling scale of 1:24. It contains plastic parts, rubber tires, a clear part for the glazing, decals with a racing scheme and instructions. The model captures the competition Audi Quattro from the Monte Carlo rally of the early 1980s (crew Mikkola/Hertz, start number 5).
The Audi Quattro, introduced at the start of the 1980s, brought permanent four-wheel drive and a turbocharged five-cylinder engine to the competition scene. In the world rally championship it became a watershed car that changed the face of the sport thanks to traction on all four wheels.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic. Spray the body with a primer and lay the color down smoothly, ideally with an airbrush; a gloss clear coat over the decals will bring the racing finish out. The interior, the engine bay and the chassis can be done with a brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
