A 3D-printed resin pilot's seat for the Messerschmitt Bf 109E Emil in 1:48 scale from 3DF. It is not an airplane model, but a detail add-on for a kit — a precisely printed seat with separate seat belts that replaces the simplified part from the box. The set is designed for the Eduard Bf 109E plastic kit.
The seat is one of the most visible elements of an open cockpit. A crisply printed shell with fine relief, together with separate belts, gives the interior a realism that injection-molded plastic cannot achieve. The belts are fitted separately, so you can bend them naturally and let them drape over the edge of the seat and into the cockpit.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release residue and carefully separate them from the print supports. They are glued with cyanoacrylate (super glue); sand with airway protection. Paint the seat with an airbrush in the appropriate early Luftwaffe interior shade, and pick out the belts with a brush and a fine wash to bring out the stitching and hardware.
This is a resin (3D-printed) detail accessory, not an airplane model. The Bf 109E kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
