A detailed plastic kit of the iconic French car Citroën 2CV in the more luxurious Charleston edition, in 1:24 scale from Revell. The box contains injection-molded plastic parts, rubber tires, decals and instructions. The model allows the car to be built with the canvas top open or closed.
The Citroën 2CV, nicknamed the duck, is one of the best-known people's cars of the 20th century. It is characterized by an air-cooled flat-twin engine, a simple, durable structure and unmistakable styling. The Charleston edition boasted a two-tone body finish and became a version prized by collectors.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, which will wick into the joints. It is a good idea to treat the body with primer before painting and to spray it with an airbrush for a smooth surface. The characteristic two-tone finish comes out best with careful masking. Leave the chrome parts and the lights for the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
