A set of waterslide decals for a model of the Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo in Group 5 specification, in 1:24 scale, with the markings of the works team from the 1980 season. This is not a kit but markings on their own for a model of your own.
The Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo was a racing version of a production coupe built for a category where the rules watched mainly the silhouette. Under it there arose a practically self-contained machine with a mid-mounted turbocharged four-cylinder, wide fenders and extensive aerodynamics. The works team dominated its class in endurance racing with it for several seasons in a row, and the individual cars differed in their start numbers and in small points of their markings.
Lay the decals onto gloss varnish; on a matte surface a silvery veil will show under them. Cut the sheet close to the motif, so that no visible border is left along the edge. Dip the decal in water for only a few seconds and let it release on the paper; do not pull it with tweezers. Lay large areas of livery from the center toward the edges and press the water out with a soft cloth. On edges and pressings, use a decal softener and press the film down with a cotton bud. Once dry, varnish the model so that the edges merge with the surface.
The decals are supplied on their own; the model and paints are not included in the package.
