Injection-molded plastic kit of the iconic Volkswagen T1 microbus in the luxurious Samba Bus form, in 1:24 scale from the German manufacturer Revell. The package contains parts in colored plastic, clear parts for the glazing, chrome parts and a decal sheet. It is a detailed kit for more experienced modelers, intended to be glued and painted.
The Volkswagen T1, nicknamed the Bulli, is the first generation of the Transporter commercial range, with its characteristic split windshield and friendly face. The Samba version was among the best equipped - it was marked out by a row of side windows, glazed roof lights and a roll-back canvas roof. The vehicle, with its rear air-cooled engine, became a symbol of the 1950s and 1960s and to this day is a sought-after classic among collectors of models too.
You will manage the two-tone painting of the body best with an airbrush and careful masking of the color division. Apply primer before the paint. Glue the chrome parts with cyanoacrylate, so that the plating is not damaged, and the glazing with an adhesive for clear parts. The rich glazing of the Samba comes out well if you keep the clear parts clean and free of fingerprints.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
