A set of precisely cast resin R-27 (R/T) missiles (4 pcs) from Reskit in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified plastic missiles from a boxed kit with a more faithful copy with crisp edges and fine surface detail.
The R-27 (NATO reporting name AA-10 Alamo) is a Soviet medium-range guided missile with semi-active radar (R-27R) and infrared (R-27T) guidance - the letters R/T stand for the two seeker heads. It is carried by the MiG-29 and Su-27 fighters.
This is a resin (3D-printed) set for experienced modelers. First wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and sand the surfaces - protect your airways when sanding resin. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with ordinary cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting; the missiles are sprayed with an airbrush and completed with color markings to suit the particular service.
The set is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
