USAF inboard wing pylons for the F-4 Phantom II in 1:32 scale are a resin accessory by Reskit intended for a finished aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set by Reskit holds the inboard wing pylons in the version used by the US Air Force on F-4 Phantom II aircraft. It is a resin accessory that is fitted under the wing of a finished model. On the Phantom the pylons are the load-bearing element for drop tanks, multiple ejector racks and pods, so their exact shape and position fundamentally affect how a model looks in a configuration with stores.
The F-4 Phantom II is a twin-engined, two-seat multirole aircraft that served with the US Air Force, the US Navy and the Marine Corps and with a number of other users. The form of the pylons differs between the US Air Force and US Navy versions, which is why Reskit carries the USAF pylons as a separate item. The inboard stations carried the heaviest loads, from fuel tanks to multiple ejector racks with bombs.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent. Cut the casting blocks away with a saw and level the mating surface carefully so that the pylon sits on the wing without a gap and at the right angle. Before gluing, try the position dry and mark it with a pencil. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the pylons separately and fit them only once they have dried; you then spare the underside of the wing any unnecessary sanding.
