Confederate infantry of the American Civil War (1:35, ICM) is a plastic figure set of soldiers of the southern states of the 1860s.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from ICM represents infantrymen of the Confederate army, the southern states, in the period of the American Civil War. The figures come as a kit, in period uniforms and with the matching weapons.
The American Civil War (1861-1865) set the Union of the North against the Confederacy of the South. Confederate soldiers often wore grayish or brownish butternut uniforms, and their equipment tended to be more varied than that of their opponents. The set suits historical dioramas very well and can be joined with Union figures to show a clash.
We would suggest thin cement for plastic and careful cleanup of the seams. Prime the figures before painting. For the uneven Confederate uniforms, varied shades of gray and brown, brightened edges and washes in the folds work well; pick out the leather items with contrast.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
