The Volkswagen T3 (the third generation Transporter) was built from the end of the 1970s to the beginning of the 1990s and became a widespread utility and passenger vehicle. In army service it worked as a liaison, staff and transport vehicle — as a minibus and as a van for carrying personnel and material. The Bundeswehr operated the T3 in rear-area and garrison roles, where its reliability and easy maintenance were valued. Military examples wore the typical single-color finish and the appropriate tactical and registration markings.
Cut the parts off the sprues and glue them with thin modeling cement for plastic. Paint and assemble the interior of the cab and the passenger compartment before you close up the body, and mask the glazing while spraying. Lay down a primer and apply the paints with an airbrush, and finish the body with a gloss coat under the decals. Bring out the panel seams with a restrained wash and add dust and mud pigments to the underside of the vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
