This is a resin detail accessory in 1:35 scale, not a kit of the vehicle. The set follows on as the second part of the cover tarpaulin set for models of the German Sd.Kfz. 9 Famo heavy halftrack tractor. The casting faithfully imitates fabric with a natural sag, folds and tie-down straps and completes the covering of the vehicle.
The tarpaulin is seated on the designated part of the load bed and frame of the model. The part is cleaned of its casting blocks and mold release, the fit to the particular model is adjusted and it is glued on with super glue. Small gaps can be filled with putty and sanded.
A primer forms the base, followed by the shade of the canvas. You suggest fading and dust with filters and pigments, and bring out the edges and folds with a dry brush. Matching it with the rest of the vehicle looks the most natural.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package.
