1:35 G7117 1,5t 4x4 Wrecker is a new plastic kit of the American recovery version of the Chevrolet truck from the MiniArt brand.

MiniArt brought this set out in 2025 as a new mold. Besides the injection-molded plastic sprues it contains photo-etched metal and clear parts for the windows and the lights. The real subject is the recovery version of the one-and-a-half-ton all-wheel-drive vehicle from the G506 family, that is the machine which behind the front pulled everything else out of the mud.
The whole engine compartment, the gearbox, the brake system and the steering are worked up, so the vehicle can be displayed with the hood tilted open. The doors and the hood can be fitted open or closed. The tarpaulin of the cargo bed has the folds of the cloth modeled, so that it looks soft. The decal sheet offers three variants of markings.
The level of detail is high, so build in subassemblies and leave the chassis free as long as possible, so that it can be sprayed separately. Paint and dirty the engine compartment before you close it up. Bring the olive shade to life with a lighter layer from above, suggest the edges of the engine block and the frame with wear, and layer the mud from the bottom upward, so that the transition onto the cargo bed looks natural. Bend the photo-etched parts for the small brackets dry and attach them only after the main coats of paint.
The box contains the parts for the build; the coating materials and the glue have to be bought separately.
