A set of gardening tools in 1:35 scale for dioramas and display scenes. Small props that give a scene action and a sense of scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings gardening tools in 1:35 scale, that is, small props for a diorama. It is exactly these little things that set a scene apart from a mere model on a base: a tool leaned against a wall, dropped by a fence or loaded on the bed of a vehicle suggests that somebody was working here, and at the same time gives the viewer a comparison of sizes. The 1:35 scale matches ordinary models of military vehicles and figures, so the set suits a civilian scene of the same size as well.
The parts are small and slender, so cut them off the carrier with a sharp blade a little away from the part and gently sand the remaining flat; never snap them off. Tweezers and a mat with a raised edge pay off so that a cut part does not fly to the floor. Glue in spots and with a small amount of glue, otherwise the excess floods the fine relief of the handles and the edges.
Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Wooden handles look better in a warmer brown shade with a hint of grain; metal parts take a dark metallic base, a dark glaze in the details and a light accenting of the edges. Keep rust patches sparing and only where the tool is not touched by a hand. Work out the arrangement according to the action of the scene: a tool put down in the middle of a job looks more convincing than a carefully aligned row.
The set suits builders of dioramas, village and farm scenes and display corners for models of vehicles. The package contains only the parts of this set, unless stated otherwise; figures, a base, paints and glue are not included.
