An injection-molded plastic kit of the German three-ton cargo truck 3,6-36S in the mid production version in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. It is the typically richly detailed MiniArt kit with a fully detailed engine, cab interior and cargo body, complemented by photo-etched parts and a sheet with several marking options. The cargo body can be built open or with a tarpaulin, so the model serves well both as a standalone piece and as the centerpiece of a diorama.
This was a three-ton cargo truck widely used by the German army in the Second World War to carry troops and materiel and as a chassis for special bodies. The mid production version reflects the simplifications and changes to the bodywork introduced during wartime production. Trucks of this type served on every front and some examples were captured by the Allies.
Because the engine and the interior are fully modeled, paint and shade both the cab and the engine bay before you close them up. Paint the vehicle with an airbrush over primer, shade the surfaces, bring out the recesses with a wash and dust the running gear and the fenders with pigments. Glue the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. The tarpaulin can be rendered taut or slack, according to the scene you want.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
