German helmet M35/40 (Stahlhelm) 1:35 is a set of resin (3D-printed) German helmets for figures and dioramas. An accessory, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin helmets made by 3D printing representing the German M35/40 steel helmet, the Stahlhelm, in 1:35 scale. This accessory from the Czech maker Firma49 serves for fitting to figures and for bringing dioramas to life. It is not a model of equipment but a detail accessory for the most common diorama scale.
The M35 pattern Stahlhelm was brought into the German army in 1935 and became one of the most recognizable symbols of the Second World War soldier. The M40 model was a simplified production variant with stamped ventilation holes. The deep bowl with its short rim, which protected the nape and the ears, is characteristic.
Separate the helmets from the print supports; before trimming, it is worth dipping the resin briefly in hot water so that it softens. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue. Wash the parts before painting and apply a primer. A flat gray-green (feldgrau) color suits them, and the patina can be picked out in the recesses with a wash.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package.
