The set brings two unassembled and unpainted figures of German soldiers of the Second World War period in 1:35 scale, together with a set of jerry cans and photo-etched parts. The figures will aptly bring supply and rear-area scenes, refueling scenes beside a vehicle or ordinary moments of military life to life. The material is injection-molded plastic.
Refueling and carrying jerry cans were part of the everyday routine of both combat and rear-area units. The characteristic sheet-metal cans became an iconic feature of period photographs and in a diorama they give a scene both a story and scale. The pair of figures is designed for use beside vehicles and equally as a genre scene of its own.
Glue the fine joints and the photo-etched parts accurately and in small amounts; the plastic parts with thin cement for plastic and the photo-etch with super glue. Uniforms come into their own when painted with an airbrush over a filler primer and the folds are then picked out with a wash and a dry brush. Paint the faces and the small details in with a brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and a vehicle are not included in the package.
