A country dwelling in ruins in 1:35: the House ruin Kursk, a backdrop for a tableau from the eastern front from the brand Royal Model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A country house after the fighting, prepared as the backdrop of a tableau in 1:35. The goods fall among the accessories for building scenes: on their own they do not make a model of equipment, but they give it a place and a scale. A figure by a demolished wall gives away at once how great that destruction was. The backdrop does not have to stand alone, moreover, and will readily take the addition of a fence or a well.
In July 1943 the Kursk salient was the scene of the largest tank encounter in history. The fighting rolled over hundreds of villages made up of low dwellings with whitewashed plaster, mud outbuildings and thatched or sheet-metal roofs. It is precisely such buildings that make up the background of the shots with T-34 tanks, Panthers and Ferdinands.
First plan the ground plan of the scene out and only then seat the dwelling: a ruin should stand so that the viewer can see inside. Paint the whitewashed plaster in shades of dirty white and draw the exposed masonry beneath it out with a warmer tone. Apply summer dust with a light pigment at the foot of the walls and set dry blades of grass among the rubble. Leave the remaining beams rather faded, as freshly cut wood does not come across believably in such a scene.
You will not find paints, grass scatter or a base board in the package; the ruin is supplied in a raw state for further work.
