Tamiya Valentine Mk.II/IV 1:35 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the British Infantry Tank Mk.III of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Infantry Tank Mk.III Valentine in the Mk.II/IV version in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The model faithfully captures the characteristic angular hull, the cast parts of the gun mantlet and the link-and-length tracks with multi-part three-wheel bogies. The front hatches and the turret hatches can be assembled open or closed; the box also holds two figures and several decal options.
The Valentine was a light, compact and exceptionally reliable British infantry tank first deployed in 1940. With production of over 7000 units (in Great Britain and in Canada) it was the most-produced British tank of the Second World War. The Mk.II/IV version carried a 40 mm (two-pounder) gun and a diesel engine with slow-motion spring suspension. A number of the vehicles also went to the Red Army.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; assemble the link-and-length tracks according to the instructions. Finish the running gear and the three-wheel bogies first, and only then close up the hull. We recommend a primer and an airbrush; accentuate the busy surface with a wash in the recesses and apply pigments to the running gear for dust and mud. Paint the figures separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
