An Eduard accessory set with airbrakes for the F-16I Sufa model in 1:48 scale, printed parts for Great Wall Hobby kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-16I Sufa is the two-seat version of the F-16 fighter developed for the Israeli Air Force. It is recognized from the ordinary machines by the bulky dorsal spine behind the cockpit and by the additional tanks fitted close against the sides of the fuselage, which extend its range. The word Sufa means storm in Hebrew. On the F-16 the airbrakes are placed on either side of the engine nozzle and when deployed they are among the most conspicuous moving surfaces of the whole aircraft.
The set by Eduard replaces the airbrakes that are simplified in the kit. The name states that the parts are made by 3D printing and that the set is cut for Great Wall Hobby kits in 1:48 scale. The printed execution allows thinner walls and deeper internal detail than can be injected into a mold.
For modelers who are building the F-16I in 1:48 scale and want to build the model with the brakes open without cutting and thinning plastic.
The package contains only the accessory set. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
