MiniArt 1:35 M-4 Quad Maxim anti-aircraft machine gun is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet four-barrel anti-aircraft Maxim mount.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detailed injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale captures the four-barrel anti-aircraft mount armed with Maxim model 1910 machine guns. The model is made up of a large number of fine parts, which let you build the mount with all its moving elements, the cooling jackets of the barrels and the ammunition. It is a weapon in its own right, not a complete vehicle.
The four-barrel Maxim anti-aircraft assembly was among the widespread means of close air defense in the Second World War. The combination of four water-cooled machine guns gave a high density of fire against low-flying aircraft. The mount was used in static positions as well as fitted on the beds of trucks and on railway cars.
Cut the small parts off the sprues with a sharp knife and glue them with a thin modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting, and spraying the shades with an airbrush is recommended. The water cooling jackets of the barrels and the mechanism of the mount come out after being brought out with a wash and a dry brush; a final weathering with dust and pigments gives the assembly a realistic look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
