This detail set from the manufacturer MiniArt contains injection-molded plastic road wheels for American medium tanks in 1:35 scale. The set offers two versions of the wheel, the welded and the pressed type, so you can choose the variant matching a particular vehicle. It is an accessory, not a complete tank model.
Road wheels of this type were used on the VVSS suspension of American medium tanks, that is on the M3 Lee and Grant series as well as the M4 Sherman series and vehicles built on the same chassis. During the war welded and pressed wheels were produced in parallel, which showed even on a single vehicle.
Cut the parts from the sprues with a sharp knife, clean up the gate marks and bond them with plastic cement. It is practical to spray the wheels separately before fitting them. For a realistic look, dust with pigments and add mud on the lower part of the running gear.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
