This figure set is cast by the brand Royal Model in resin, and according to the manufacturer clear parts belong with it as well. It shows people in full-body suits protecting against weapons of mass destruction, that is in equipment that takes a figure's face away and turns it into an anonymous silhouette.
A suit against radioactive, biological and chemical contamination consists of an airtight pull-over garment, a hood with a full-face mask, gloves and overboots. Working in it is exhausting: in warm weather it cannot be endured for more than tens of minutes, and speech is possible only through a membrane. Exactly for that reason these figures reveal at once what kind of situation a scene shows, without your having to explain anything on a label by the display case.
Put the clear parts aside and fit them only at the very end, so that they do not get dusty and glued over; protect them with masking tape while varnishing. The smooth surface of the suit forgives little, so fill the seams after gluing carefully and sand them back. In color, cool gray-green and olive tones with a restrained sheen prove themselves, because rubberized cloth is never completely matte.
The figures arrive unassembled and without paint; other material is not part of the delivery.
