This is not a tank kit but a supplementary (aftermarket) detail set. It holds a set of Type 1 workable tracks for a model of the Israeli Merkava Mk.3 tank in 1:35 scale. The links are 3D-printed in resin and stay movable once assembled, so the track can be given a natural sag over the running gear.
The Merkava Mk.3 is an Israeli main battle tank introduced in the late 1980s, distinguished by its front-mounted engine and a gun of 120 mm caliber. The Type 1 track matches one of the track pad patterns used on this variant.
Wash the print resin residue off the resin links and separate them carefully from the print supports. Assemble the track gradually, bonding the joints with cyanoacrylate glue so that play remains in the hinges. Shape the sag over the wheels before it dries completely. Paint it in a dark iron shade, bring out the track pads with bare metal wear and work dust pigments into the recesses.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
