Color elements for the exterior of models of the MH-60L, SH-60B and HH-60G helicopters in the early version, in 1:35 scale. The set is prepared for kits from Kitty Hawk.
Responsibility details are not available.
The helicopters of the H-60 family serve in army, naval and search and rescue versions. The individual versions differ above all in the equipment for the task they carry out, and that shows from the outside as well. It is precisely the small external details that make the difference on a model between a generic shape and one particular machine.
The set brings color elements for the exterior of the model in 1:35 scale. They add details to the fuselage surfaces that would be hard to paint by hand, and they are laid straight onto the kit parts, so the building sequence in the instructions stays the same. In shape the set follows the kits of Kitty Hawk and is intended for the early version of the listed variants. The color is already there, so masking small areas and mixing shades are both done away with.
The way the elements are applied differs between the individual Quinta lines, so follow the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set before you start. The surfaces under the elements must be finished: sprayed, dry and preferably coated with gloss varnish so that the surface is not porous. Then seat the elements one at a time with tweezers and adjust the pressure with a cotton bud so that no bubble is left anywhere. Work one piece at a time, as a seated element is hard to move.
The set is for modelers who want to take a large helicopter to the level of detail that shows at first glance. The package contains the listed elements only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
