An injection-molded plastic kit of the German artillery tractor Mörserzugmittel 35(t) in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Bronco. It is a new tooling built on the chassis of the 38(t) light tank of Czechoslovak origin; according to the manufacturer the package contains plastic parts, photo-etched metal and individual track links, and a well-worked interior for the driver's compartment with them. The subject is one of the unusual themes that collectors find interesting.
The Mörserzugmittel 35(t) was a German heavy artillery tractor that came about by converting obsolete light tanks. The turret was removed and replaced by a simple canvas cover, the vehicle was given stowage spaces and it served to tow heavy mortars and artillery weapons. Only very few of the conversions were made. The chassis was derived from the proven design of the 38(t) tank, which had its origin in pre-war Czechoslovakia.
Work with liquid cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with super glue. First finish and paint the running gear and the interior of the driver's compartment before the body is closed up. Assemble the individual track links carefully. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush; for the patina use washes and pigments for dust and mud effects befitting a field tractor.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
