An additional resin set from the Italian firm Royal Model, which adds a realistic bed tarpaulin and a load in 1:35 scale to a model of the German Opel Blitz truck. It is not a vehicle kit in its own right but a resin accessory with which you bring the load area to life and give the truck a lived-in look. Suitable for a diorama and for a model on its own alike.
The Opel Blitz was the standard German truck of the Second World War, deployed on all fronts to carry soldiers, ammunition and supplies. The trucks were commonly covered with a tarpaulin and carried loads of all kinds, including crates, barrels and equipment, which is a rewarding subject for modelers longing for an authentic scene.
Wash the resin parts clean of mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). You bring the tarpaulin out with a base color, a fine wash into the folds and drybrushing along the edges; the load is brought to life by varied color accents and weathering.
This is a resin accessory. The base kit of the vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package.
