Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the heavily armored version of the German Panzer I light tank in 1:35 scale from Bronco. The model captures the late development variant Ausf.F under the project designation VK18.01. The package holds richly broken-up plastic, individual track links, clear parts, photo-etched parts and decals for several marking options.
The Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf.F was an attempt at an infantry support tank that took its name from the Panzer I family but was in fact an entirely new, markedly heavily armored machine intended to break through fortifications. It had thick frontal armor, interleaved road wheels and a low speed. Only a small number were built and some of them reached the Eastern Front. It is a collectible and unusual type.
Use thin cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish the running gear and the interior of the hull before closing it. Prepare the individual track links and let them set up partially, so that they hold a natural sag; fit them only once the running gear has been finished. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before finishing and spray with an airbrush; on a heavily armored machine, washes into the welds and pigments for mud effects suit well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
