An injection-molded plastic kit of the Pz.Bef.Wg. 35(t) command tank in 1:35 scale from Academy. The model captures the command version of the light tank with the large frame antenna stretched across the upper part of the hull. The package holds parts in dark gray plastic, tracks as a combination of individual links and longer lengths, photo-etched parts for the fenders and decals.
The 35(t) armored vehicle was a light tank designed in Czechoslovakia, where the letter t stands for tschechisch, meaning Czech, and Germany used it in considerable numbers during the Second World War. Besides the ordinary radio set, the command vehicles carried a second radio station for communication with higher commanders, and part of the stowed ammunition had to give way to it. The conspicuous frame antenna was the hallmark of the command version.
Glue the fragile frame antenna and the photo-etched fenders only at the end of the build. Assemble and weather the running gear and the tracks separately. An airbrush suits the early-war German gray; bring out the edges and the running gear with rubbing, washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
