An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Sd.Kfz.234/4 heavy armored reconnaissance car in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The model has a richly detailed surface, a faithful interior and photo-etched parts; according to the manufacturer it contains markings for four options. The box also contains crew figures in action poses, so the car is easy to bring to life in a diorama.
The Sd.Kfz.234/4 was a German heavy armored car with drive on all eight wheels (8x8) from the end of the Second World War. In an open-topped superstructure it carried the powerful 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun, which let it destroy armored targets as well as carry out reconnaissance. The vehicles of the 234 series stood out for their high mobility, their range and their ability to reverse at full speed thanks to the second driver's position at the rear.
Finish and paint the interior of the hull and the fighting compartment before closing it up, because it is well in view with the open-topped superstructure. Assemble the suspension and the wheels separately. Lay down primer and spray with an airbrush; a late-war camouflage (Dunkelgelb with patches) comes to life with washes, edge highlighting and dust pigments on the suspension and the wheels. Paint the figures separately and fit them at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
