A turned metal detail accessory, not a model. The set contains two precisely turned metal barrels of the German MG13k machine gun in 1:35 scale. The metal barrels replace the plastic ones from the model: they have a perfectly circular section with no parting seam, the correct thickness in scale and a cleanly made muzzle. That does away with cleaning up seams and drilling out plastic. Made by Aber, the Polish specialist in metal accessories.
The MG13k was a German light machine gun that was used, among other things, as the armament of early German light tanks such as the Pz.Kpfw. I. On models of these vehicles the thin machine gun barrels are a small but visually sensitive detail on which plastic quickly looks coarse.
For modelers who build early German vehicles armed with the MG13k machine gun in 1:35 scale and want fine metal barrels with no seams. Even a less experienced modeler will manage the fitting; all that is needed is super glue.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
