Airfix Sherman Firefly QUICK BUILD is a snap-together kit of the British tank that you assemble without glue and without paints from pre-colored parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A simplified snap-together kit of the British Sherman Firefly tank from the QUICK BUILD line. The parts are pre-colored and joined simply by snapping together without glue, and the enclosed stickers serve for dressing it up. That makes the model an ideal introduction to model building for beginners and younger builders, and once finished it also serves well as a play model. The assembly includes movable features, for example a rotating turret, turning wheels and linked tracks.
The Sherman Firefly was a British conversion of the American M4 Sherman tank, into whose turret a powerful 17-pounder anti-tank gun was fitted. Thanks to it the Firefly was one of the few Allied tanks that could effectively destroy even heavy German armored vehicles. In the Second World War it became a valuable element of the tank units, and the long barrel made it unmistakable.
The parts only need to be joined by snapping them together according to the instructions; no glue or paints are needed. Anyone who wants to can paint the model over with modeling paints suitable for plastic and bring the details out. Clean the dust off the surface before sticking the stickers on, so that they hold well.
The model is assembled by snapping together without glue, the parts are pre-colored and the stickers are included in the package. The paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
