The multi-figure resin set 1:35 Soldiers painting from Royal Model captures soldiers at the moment they are painting their hardware.

The multi-figure set with the subject of painting hardware from the Italian brand Royal Model offers a rewarding and seldom seen scene: a crew absorbed in work with a brush. The resin castings are intended to be assembled and painted, for a scene with a vehicle in 1:35 scale.
Camouflage was not altered in a paint shop in the field. Crews repainted their vehicles according to the season and the terrain, added tactical numbers and unit markings, repainted captured hardware and before winter applied a white winter coat that flaked off in the spring. A bucket, a brush and a half-finished coat of paint therefore belong to the typical image of a unit at rest. For a builder it is a useful theme: it lets you show a vehicle only partly repainted, with a sharp dividing line between the old and the new shade, and at the same time it explains why the model looks exactly as it does.
First put the figures together dry and find them a place by the hull so that the hands and the tools sit on the surfaces of the vehicle. Only then attach them permanently. Working clothes will take faded tones and stains, and small spatters on the sleeves and the boots lend the scene credibility more than any other detail.
